New Pro and Sport Pro versions

Ducati continues to diversify the 1100 scrambler series. The new, now presented model variants are named Scrambler 1100 Pro and Scrambler 1100 Sport Pro.

At EICMA 2019 D.ucati has already shown with two prototypes that the Scrambler series is not yet considered fully exhausted. Now the Italians are pushing the two new Scrambler variations 1100 Pro and 1100 Sport Pro. They now meet the Euro 5 standard, but remain unchanged in terms of performance with 86 hp and 88 Nm torque.

The hallmarks of the new Ducati Scrambler 1100 Pro are its revised look, a new exhaust and a new seat panel, a shorter rear fender and the license plate holder now on a swing arm. The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport Pro is a bit sportier with a new, shorter and lower handlebar with mirrors in cafe racer style and an Ohlins chassis. Here, too, the license plate now hangs on a swing arm. Both models carry a 15-liter sheet steel tank and a newly shaped and covered bench.

Special design philosophy

The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Pro can also be recognized by the new two-tone "Ocean Drive" color design with a black steel grille frame and aluminum rear frame as well as the black aluminum covers. A new twin tailpipe on the right-hand side and a deep license plate holder ensure an unmistakable rear styling. Another trademark is the framed headlight; Inspired by the protective tape used in the 1970s, a black metal “X” was incorporated into the headlight. The 1100 Sport Pro is in matt black, complemented by side panels with a painted 1100 logo.

Ducati has re-tuned the traction control (DTC) for the new Pro models, and cornering ABS and three driving modes (Active, Journey and City) are on board as standard. The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Pro and Ducati Scrambler Sport Pro will be available from the end of March 2020. Prices and performance data have not yet been given.
