E-bike special model and updates
The electric motorcycle manufacturer Energica presented a new special model and new technology features for its electric sports motorcycles at INTERMOT.
From 2019, the FIM Moto-e World Cup will be a new racing series with electric motorcycles. Energica provides the motorcycles. Based on the racing motorcycles E.nergica is now presenting the special Ego Sport Black model at INTERMOT in Cologne.
More electronics
The Energica Ego Sport Black model has a bench seat with a special cover and red contrasting stitching, various add-on parts made of Ergal and special vibration dampers in the handlebars. The special model is also available in the color combinations Lunar White / Titan Gray and Red Passion / Titan Gray. The special model will go on sale in early 2019. Prices were not mentioned.

Energica gives its e-bikes more electronic features on the way.
In addition, Energica has upgraded all of its models on the electronics side. The traction control can now be adjusted in six stages, the standard cruise control recuperates when braking and when pushing. The new E-throttle should act even more sensitively. Another new feature is the heated grips, which will also be part of the future standard equipment and can be set in four stages. The now pulsating charging light that shows the charging process is more of a gimmick.
New in the range and also retrofittable for older models are the charging quantities that can now be preset and a whisper mode for the cooling fan of the charging system. A newly written operating software should also reduce the loading time by around 15 percent.
The models Eva, Eva 107 Streetfighter and Eva EsseEsse9 have a USB port as standard. This is only available as an option for the Sportbike Ego.
