The little scrambler F.B. Mondial HPS 125i revitalizes the legendary brand, importer-multi MSA brings the 125cc to Germany.

Mondial – a brand name that a good 50 years ago still had the sound of thunder and open Lafranconis. But that is (Italian company) history. A new company with the same big old name now wants to build on them. And now she has with the F.B. M.ondial HPS 125i presented its first 125cc. The light motorcycle, which has a scrambler look, is imported to Germany by the Kymco importer MSA and is now being offered by most Kymco dealers at a price of 3,590 euros.

The new F.B. The Mondial HPS 125i comes with a four-stroke engine from the Chinese engine manufacturer Zongshen. The water-cooled four-valve engine has an output of 10 kW (13.6 hp), starts electrically and has a six-speed gearbox. An upside-down fork springs at the front, while stereo struts underline the classic look at the rear. The slim, raised double-pipe exhaust and the wire-spoke wheels with the coarse first tires go well with this. According to the importer MSA, the F.B. Mondial HPS 125i 133 kilograms and with a seat height of 785 millimeters also offers smaller drivers safe ground contact.

The F.B. lacks modern technology for a classic look. Mondial HPS 125i actually just an ABS. Instead, the Scrambler comes up with a combination brake system, with one brake lever acting on both single disc brakes at the front and rear. In Germany, the debut of the resurrected Italian brand F.B. Mondial is currently only available in titanium gray. A larger version of the F.B. Mondial HPS with a 250cc single cylinder is to follow from next year.
