Scout 100th Anniversary and Scout Bobber Twenty

In 2020 the Scout will be 100 years old. Indian is celebrating this with the limited edition Scout 100th Anniversary and the new Bobber. In 2020, Scout and Scout Sixty will also be rolling again.

100 years? I agree. In 1920 the world’s first rolled out S.cout to the market. At that time Indian was still called Hendee Manufacturing Company. The oldest American motorcycle brand (founded in 1901) is now honoring the Scout with a special model limited to 750 copies – the Indian Limited Edition Scout 100th Anniversary.

The special model Indian Limited Edition Scout 100th Anniversary is limited to 750 pieces.

The anniversary model is based on the original Scout and comes in the typical “Indian Motorcycle Red” paintwork with anniversary gold decoration and a color-coordinated Scout 100 years anniversary plaque. The solo seat is made of real leather, the look of which was probably christened “Desert Tan” by the marketing department. The limited special model rolls on black wire-spoke rims, the driver grabs a beach bar handlebar, luggage racks and other surfaces are generously chrome-plated.

The special model Scout Bobber Twenty comes with a free-swinging saddle.

The Indian Scout Bobber Twenty is also said to pay homage to the model from 1920. The manufacturer donates wire-spoke rims, a free-swinging saddle, 10-inch Ape-Hanger handlebars and chrome-plated and blackened surfaces. It is available in three colors: Thunder Black (black), Sagebrush Smoke (green) and Burnished Metallic (red).

In addition to the two special models, the Scout range for the 2020 model year also includes Scout, Scout Sixty and Scout Bobber. All 2020 models receive important updates: floating caliper brakes with new brake calipers and a new master cylinder for improved braking performance, new Pirelli MT60RS tires and, for the 2020 Scout, a sports seat and passenger footrests.

All models are equipped with ABS and will be available in several new colors.

Colors Indian Scout: Thunder Black, White Smoke, Deepwater Metallic and Metallic Jade via Thunder Black and Indian Motorcycle Red via Ivory Cream with gold pinstripes.
Colors Indian Scout Bobber: Thunder Black, Thunder Black Smoke, Deepwater Metallic, Bronze Smoke and White Smoke.

Indian accessories for touring

For all model years of the Scout and the Scout Sixty, a new, color-coordinated quick-release fairing with a 2-inch windshield is available, which can be exchanged for a 5-inch or a 7-inch screen. To complete the touring package, riders can add a solo luggage rack (in chrome and now gloss black) and a solo luggage bag.
