Special edition as a single piece

MV Agusta has put a new special model on its wheels, which is dedicated to the luxury marketplace TheArsenale. A Dragster 800 RR serves as the basic motorcycle.

Before we get to the motorcycle itself, a few words about the website TheArsenale, which probably not everyone is familiar with. The motto of the online marketplace, which is “The shop of your dreams”, should make it easy to see what it is about. TheArsenale wants to offer the “creme de la creme” of products according to its own statements – the goods offered there are correspondingly luxurious and cost-intensive. Anyone looking for exclusive motorcycles, cars or even flying objects could find them here. Since MV Agusta sees itself more in the high-class segment, the Italians decided to buy a special model from the D.to put the ragster 800 RR on its wheels. MV Agusta already caused quite a stir in the past with numerous spectacular looking special versions, for example the bikes developed in cooperation with Lewis Hamilton.

The technical basis remains untouched

As before, the well-known in-line three-cylinder with 798 cm³ is used, which makes 140 hp. Also included is an eight-stage adjustable traction control, a quickshifter and blipper, and the so-called MVICS Full Ride by Wire system. The changes compared to the basic bike are therefore more of a visual nature. The paintwork is basically black. Orange-colored elements are used in many places. TheArsenale’s logo also finds its place in some places. To match the rest of the bike, MV Agusta has also given each of the wheels an orange trim.

The three-cylinder engine with 798 cm³ continues to produce 150 hp.

MV Agusta director Ratmir Sardarov was enthusiastic about the cooperation with TheArsenale. He praises the pioneering spirit and exclusivity of the luxury retail space. Patrice Meignan, CEO and founder of TheArsenal, is also proud of the collaboration with an incredible and very prestigious brand. Ultimately, the question that remains unanswered is how much is due for purchasing the special model. Neither MV Agusta nor TheArsenale name a price. However, potential buyers should not hope for a real bargain.

Conclusion

The MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR “TheArsenale” is more likely to appeal to wealthy prospects who want to expand their fleet with another one-off item. Technically, the dragster remains unchanged, but optically it knows how to please.
