The puristic cruiser

Nothing more than driving. With the XV 950, Yamaha introduced a no-frills Crusier that focuses on driving without a lot of frills. MOTORRAD tester Stefan Kaschel did the first laps in the USA with the new XV.

With the Yamaha XV 950 R is now taking the courage to put a tradition-conscious, no-frills bike on the wheels of Yamaha. With the air-cooled V2 from the XVS 950 A Midnightstar, the small cruiser exudes the charm of bygone days. The impression our MOTORRAD tester Stefan Kaschel got of the new purist can be found in the 110-year MOTORRAD anniversary edition, which will be available at the kiosk from Friday, August 2nd.
