As in Australia last Sunday, Miguel Oliveira whips his KTM and takes a second ahead of Morbidelli while Quartararo drops to 5th place behind Brad Binder and Franco Bagnaia. Oliveira takes her lead up to 4.5 seconds ahead of Morbidelli with 7 laps to go. 

Morbidelli, he gets picked up by Binder while Quartararo doubles Bagnaia! French is 4th! Brad Binder overtakes Franco Morbidelli while a few drops begin to fall. This small shower without much impact on the grip benefits Pasini and Bagnaia, who overtake Quartararo. 

"I did anything in the last laps," regrets the French rider, who – too much – gave up for fear of losing control of his bike with the change of grip. But the extreme uneasy heat means that the humidity does not penetrate the bitumen: Fabio‘s rivals have understood this and continue to put gas !

 Unfortunately, “El Diablo” was also unfortunately overtaken by Syahrin on the line and finally finished 7th while Miguel Oliveira – very physically tested at the finish – and Brad Binder signed a KTM double. The new world champion Franco Morbidelli – congratulated by his compatriot Valentino Rossi in his lap of honor – completes the podium ahead of Mattia Pasini and Franco Bagnaia.

Thanks to his double "Australia-Malaysia", Miguel Oliveira consolidates his third place in the provisional with 72 points behind the leader and 27 over Luthi. Small consolation for the Swiss: his "title" of vice-world champion will not be blown to him by Oliveira, whatever the classification in Valencia.
