For a whole season, the Reusch touring glove offered by Polo with the meaningful name “touring leather / textile glove 3.0” had to prove itself in everyday editorial work.

Our finding after the 12-month test: Even if there are clear signs of wear and tear, it still keeps what it promises. Namely: Insensitivity to rain and moisture thanks to the reliable Gore-Tex membrane and a really comfortable fit.

Leather dissolves after a short time

We also liked the grip, the visor wiper rubber lip, the reinforcement on the outer edge of the hand and the padding on the palm. The choice of materials and the quality of the seams are also impressive.

The leather on the fingertips only lasted a short time in the long-term test.

Precisely for this reason, however, it is a shame that the thin leather applications on the fingertips (which enable smartphone displays to be operated) and the leather cover of the knuckle protector show signs of dissolution after a very short time. This does not affect the functionality, but of course the look suffers.

Noticed positively: Very comfortable, reliably waterproof

Noticed negatively: Leather on fingertips only lasts for a short time

Sizes: 8.5 to 11

Price: 99.99 euros

MOTORRAD verdict: 3 stars out of a possible 5

Conclusion

The Reusch touring leather / textile glove 3.0 made a decent impression in the long-term test. However, the signs of dissolution of the leather components caused negative points.
