Himalayan in rally look

Royal Enfield presented a Himalayan in the look of a Dakar factory racing machine at the Bangkok Motor Sale. The rally bike is purely a show bike, production not planned.

The engine is protected by massive crash bars.

At the front, the Dakar Edition wears a carbon lamp mask with two small round headlights and a high windshield. In addition, the frame-mounted cladding extends sideways to the tank. A short duckbill fender protrudes from below.

On both sides of the engine, a lush wickerwork prevents fall damage. Additional LED headlights provide additional light. The thickly padded bench leads into a cross rear fender. The exhaust muffler was raised. To round off the sporty look, the Dakar Edition is wrapped in a blue-white-red vinyl dress.

Technically, the Himalayan remained unchanged. The 411 cm³ single-cylinder should therefore still produce 25 hp. Even if the exhibit is called Edition, Royal Enfield does not plan to produce the rally model.
