The new communication systems are available in the versions Spider ST1 and RT1. The communication systems of the Spider line dispense with Bluetooth pairing and instead work exclusively on Sena’s proprietary Mesh 2.0 platform. This means that up to 24 drivers can be integrated within the network. The maximum range is a good eight kilometers under the best conditions.

The distinguishing features between Spider ST1 and RT1 are mainly in their design, the functionality is identical. Both Spider ST1 and RT1 offer, among other things, one-click-to-connect mesh intercom, premium high-definition speakers and microphone, advanced noise cancellation and an integrated FM radio.

With its jog dial control, the ST1 focuses on maximum ease of use. The RT1 version comes with a three-button control and offers an even simpler and slimmer design. However, both devices do not completely do without Bluetooth. Even if communication is not possible via Bluetooth, mobile devices can still be connected to stream music and use navigation and telephone functions.
