Motorcycle news: Interesting bikes for 2008
What was that excitement ten years ago, when the pillar Hayabusa appeared on the left lane of German highways! Especially the rainbow press overturned almost with horror scenarios.
Luckily, the snow of yesterday, has already spoken around that the "hiking falcon" not only stubborn bolts, but also gently swing through everyday life.
This will not be different at the 13 590 euro new edition, which got a little displacement more (now 1340 cubic coat centimeters) and whopping 22 hp. Overall, it is now 197, and the magical 200 hp brand is just a fig leaf far away. Still surprises the thunderstick with its agility, while the shell of the Hayabusa is used to counteract the eye of the observer organic-aerodynamically. The hiking falcon remained faithful.

A nice car from Bologna???
Una Macchina is called "a machine", meaning in Italian but "a car". … A motorcycle is una moto.
My useless comment
I find the optics of some motorcycles "hot" (Quote Bohlen). Harley-Davidson eg is a true enjoyment for my eyes. And occasionally I look at this TV show with pleasure "American Choppers" at. But my enthusiasm for motorcycles is already exhausting. Because far too many drivers drive far too aggressive, fast, dangerous and V.a loud.
Assembled in Germany
If you want to believe Wikipedia, the 650s single cylinder of ROTAX G-models is manufactured in China and the 450s single cylinder comes from Kymco in Taiwan. It means soon then CMW instead of BMW?
BMW G 450 x
is finished in Berlin, the engine is manufactured in China. The production was relocated by Rotax to Loncin. By the way, the 650 engine is produced there too. So much only to: "Made in Germany"
BMW G450X
The ready to drive 199 kilos at the BMW G450X must probably be a misprint, so the sportenduro would be completely independent.
