New Bridgestone Battlax Sport Touring T30 motorcycle tire

The main changes relate to the composition of the rubber and the design of the tire. At the front, the tread has grooves called "T-Cross" (see diagram opposite) which would guarantee better handling. The rear offers a wide, smooth band on each shoulder to provide a larger full-angle contact area.
Likewise, the new "Swirled-shape" grooves would make it easier to keep your trajectory in a curve. And of course, if the T30 is more efficient than its predecessor in the dry, these improvements "do not compromise its performance on wet ground", specifies the Japanese tire maker. Phew !

From now on, the "T" will designate "Touring" tires, the "S" the "Sport" references (example with the recent one) and the "R" will be the prefix for "Race" tires, like the very sporty R10.
According to our information, the new Battlax Sport Touring T30 motorcycle tire will be available from March 1, 2013, the date on which its price will be communicated. The proposed sizes will gradually arrive in stores "from March to June", explains Bridgestone France.
