Pirelli is updating its motorcycle tire for road trail, the Scorpion Trail, in particular by making changes from the (read in particular and). Using dual compound technology at the rear, this Scorpion Trail II would offer a higher level of performance, but above all more consistent over time..

The central band of the rear tire, more resistant than on the shoulders, has been widened to increase the service life.

Despite this increase in harder surface, the dynamic capacities of the Scorpion Trail II would remain high level, even "exceptional in the wet", assures Pirelli which explains this tour de force by the use of new "more efficient" compounds..

New central and side treads are responsible for evacuating water, while contributing to the progress announced by Pirelli in terms of traction and stability.

Regarding the evacuation of mud, on the other hand, it is probably another story, as often with this type of tires intended for trails which only very rarely venture into off-road!
