Torrot designs the small machines based on the approximate age and weight of the children. The versions with 10-inch wheels are recommended for children aged three to five or 30 kilograms, while the 12-inch versions should be more suitable for children aged six to nine or 40 kilograms. By the way: the large cross version comes with a 14-inch wheel at the front.

Motor output staggered and adjustable

Torrot offers different motor outputs and batteries depending on the version. The motors of the small machines can be set to an output between 350 and 1,050 watts via the app, and the battery capacity is 6.6 Ah. The larger machines can be scaled between 650 and 1,500 watts and can draw from an 8.8 Ah energy store. After all, the machines reach speeds of 32 or 40 km / h, weigh only 28 or 30 kilograms and can also recuperate energy via the braking torque. The degree of recovery can also be set via the app.

Nice components

The structure of the Torrot machines is impressive. The components include a frame made of chromoly steel, spring elements from EBR and DNS, tires from Mitas or Michelin and hydraulic disc brakes with a diameter of 160 millimeters.

Everything via app

The app couples the smartphone with the Torrot via Bluetooth. The parents have the opportunity to adjust the engine power, the maximum speed, throttle response and the braking torque of the engine. On top of that there is a kill switch that shuts down the motorcycle remotely.
