The Rocket III is the very expression of excess, an avalanche of torque and sensations. A mechanical ogre, whose 3 cylinder is light years away from standard considerations. This engine is such a beast that Triumph had muzzled it on the first three gears..
It looks like those days are over, and the world is ready to take in the full power of this massive 2.3-liter mill. In 2013, the manufacturer blew up the bridle which amputated 7% of its power from first gear to the third kick. From now on, each gearbox pinion will have to handle the 151 horses and the 23 mkg made available to the right hand. If for some the cup was already full full, the Rocket III Roadster comes to shake the whole table and those around.

Violent and intimidating, the Rocket III truly tilts on the dark side of force. It also loses some chrome, replaced by black and more black. Dark are not his designs but many elements have become: the headlights, mirrors, the fender mounts, the airbox cover, etc … The exhaust line and the counters escape this fate and continue to shine with light and silver.
