Triumph 900 BONNEVILLE T 100 Black 2017

Menus

The Black version has become inseparable from the Triumph Bonneville. It allows you to enjoy the cool and vintage driving of Miss Bonnie with the dark side, dark, almost bad boy, infused by this color.

Admittedly, there is already a black color for the normal T100, but the Black pushes the brush further. It is exerted on the exhausts, the housings, the ring of the headlight, the rims, the indicators and the foot controls. In this obscure episode, only the Triumph logos, the injection covers and the milling of the cooling fins attempt a luminous daring.

The 900 Bonneville T100 Black stands out only for its coating. It is technically identical to the Bonnie classic. Its 900cc engine comes from the Street Twin, with 55 horsepower, good torque of 8.2 mkg, liquid cooling, ride-by-wire, injection and traction control. Cruise control can be added as an option. No frills on the chassis side, which needs no more than its double tubular steel cradle frame, its 18 and 17 inch spoke rims and one brake disc per wheel. ABS is present, as well as a USB port, a coded immobilizer, an LED taillight, an assisted clutch and a large stock of accessories to personalize it. If, a few thousand km later, the urge for more torque and a sixth gear becomes too strong, you can find all the Black spirit in the 1200 Bonneville; for almost 2000 euros extra.

Black is black! Or rather, with the Bonnie Black, there is a shade of black: it is offered with a Matt or Jet Black color, allowing you to choose a patina or a gloss. Like what, seeing life in black is not necessarily sad.

.Recall campaign:
In March 2019, Triumph launched a major recall campaign for its Bonneville and Street models manufactured between August 11, 2015 and January 13, 2019.

It is therefore the Bonneville T100, T120, Street Twin, Street Cup and Street Scrambler (or 68,686 motorcycles in the world) which were asked to go through the dealership for a problem of “clutch cable that could come into contact with the wiring of the main harness and damage it “, with a risk of malfunction of the lighting and indicators as well as loss of power.
