Triumph Tiger 800 XR 2019

Menus

A sign, a sensation at the bottom of the gaze. Could this be where everything is played out? Absolutely not, and yet it only takes a blink of an eye to tip you over. The new 800 Tiger is in this vein (in XRX and XRt). With very few clues to recognize it. While in facts and techniques, a lot has changed. Triumph’s mid-size trail set the bar higher, while maintaining its silhouette and size.

Triumph communicates a new design of the fairing and the sidewalls revised. We saw no difference, apart from the heat shield of the silencer and the inclination of the rim sticks. No matter, the tiger knew how to please before; it will continue in the same way. And much more, but for the more upscale versions. It is from the superior finishes that the 800 Tiger unveils its beautiful caliber equipment. LED signature in the headlights, TFT color screen, driving modes, adjustable windshield, backlit stems, cruise control, heated grips, etc….

We will console ourselves with other onboard equipment. This XR is equipped with disconnectable ABS and traction control, adjustable saddle and handlebars, two auxiliary sockets (12V and USB), and the enthusiastic 800cc 3-cylinder block.
Always 95 horsepower to the key, a bit sportier now thanks to a shorter first gear ratio. The lighter muffler has also been revised for a more engaging sound. Details have not been communicated but Triumph announces more than 200 modifications on the chassis and engine parts.

In XR finish, the 800 Tiger is presented above all as a lead product. There is the essential, and already ample enough to satisfy the roule-toujours. But most of the customers will inevitably be attracted to the other versions..
