Voge 500 AC

Two-cylinder naked bike from China

Voge, a subsidiary of the BMW China partner Loncin, has now presented the Voge 500 AC. The two-cylinder comes as a modernly styled naked bike.

W.he 500 series Voge sister models also work in the new Voge 500 AC with a 471 cm³ in-line twin cylinder with 44 hp and 40 Nm torque. The 500 AC also makes extensive use of its sister models – of course, they share the technical platform.

A ’41 Kayaba USD fork works at the front, while the swing arm is supported centrally by a strut from the same manufacturer at the rear. Nissin disc brakes in combination with ABS are used for deceleration. A 298 double disc on the front and a 240 disc on the rear wheel. Tires measuring 120/70 at the front and 160/60 at the rear are mounted on the 17-inch cast wheels. The weight of the Voge 500 AC should be around 200 kilograms.

Modern naked bike look

The differentiation to the sister model 500 R is made by a completely new tank seat line, which is much more classic. Here the Voge 500 AC is more or less based on its single-cylinder sister 300 AC, but without copying it. Instead of a lamp mask, a round headlight with LED technology hangs in front of the fork. The TFT display in the cockpit is retained. In return, the AC gets a new, conically shaped stainless steel rear silencer. The license plate including the indicator moves from the rear down to a swing arm.

In Germany, the Voge 500 R currently costs around 4,870 euros. Should the Voge 500 AC make it to Europe, a similar price can be expected.

Conclusion

The Voge 500 AC appears as a naked bike with a modern design. With its 44 hp two-cylinder engine, it would also fit nicely into the A2 class. Should she come to us, the price should also be attractive.
