Exactly two months ago, the organizers of the Superbike World Championship announced the outfit, starting with the 2019 season and during each WorldSBK weekend,. They have just delivered the last details.

This sprint race will be contested every Sunday morning over ten laps: shorter – therefore more intense? -, it will reward the first nine drivers and determine the starting order of the second round, according to the grid system inverted redesigned used since 2017.

The points of the "Tissot" Superpole race – its official name – will be distributed as follows: 12 for the first, 9 for the second, 7 for the third, 6 for the fourth, 5 for the fifth and so on … They will be added to the points awarded at the end of the other two "complete" rounds which, as a reminder, reward the first 15 pilots (25 points, 20, 16, 13, 11, 10, 9, etc.).

Three races but only one Superpole
