Despite his fall and his 6th place in the second round, Neukirchner remains ahead of Biaggi in the general classification: the two Maxs have 40 and 38 points respectively while Leon Haslam, 11th of the two rounds of Losail, is 5th with 36 points.

Our national Regis Laconi – plagued by traction problems on his Ducati – is tied on points (30) with Jonathan Rea: they are 7th behind Tom Sykes (32) but ahead of Nakano (27) and Kagayama (25).

On the manufacturers’ side, Ducati leads the dance thanks to Haga (85 points) ahead of Yamaha (81), Honda (51), Aprilia (41), Suzuki (40), BMW (27) and Kawasaki who did not score an additional point in the second run (2).
