Sylvain Guintoli back in British Superbike 2017 with Suzuki
French rider Sylvain Guintoli, ousted from the 2017 Superbike world scene in favor of Michael van den Mark within the official Yamaha team, has finally found a handlebar at Suzuki in British Superbike with Hawk Racing.
Invited to the Birmingham motorcycle show (England), Sylvain Guintoli officially announced his return to British Superbike (BSB) for 2017. The former, who recently told us that he would rather rather than "make up the WSBK ", will take the handlebars of the Suzuki Hawk Racing team (soon to be tested on MNC) alongside the Englishman Taylor Mackenzie, British Supersport champion.
Sylvain Guintoli "very happy to come back to British Superbike"
"I have achieved my ascent and I do not want to pile up again for a difficult season," Sylvain explained to MNC readers (reread our). I had made a very good start to the season on the GSX-R1000, with a victory and three more podiums in four races. I feel like I haven’t finished the job, I can’t wait to work with the team to discover the new GSX-R 1000 and I’m sure we can fight for the front row right from the start ".
“Sylvain is a top driver, he’s an excellent asset for the team and the championship,” said Steve Hicken for the Hawk Racing team. “He has proven himself on the international scene with a world title and he has experience of British circuits. With Sylvain and the news, we can claim very high ambitions for the races and the championship ".
