Already injured during a fall during the tests of the first WSBK 2014 round at Phillip Island (Australia) which prevented him from taking the start with two cracks in the pelvis and a shoulder injury, Sylvain Barrier also been the victim of a road accident this weekend.

According to his, the news is rather reassuring for the French pilot born and domiciled in Oyonnax (01), within the framework of the Dark Dog Academy when he was 17 years old. Currently hospitalized in Lyon, Sylvain is out of a coma and should be transferred during the day to another hospital to undergo a maxillofacial operation: "his condition is stable and leaves us optimistic", indicate his relatives.
