Yamaha TDM 900 2010

the sportivo-trail-route is refreshed in depth. Steel on the 850, the double beam frame now uses aluminum, the fork is enlarged from 41 to 43 mm and the pneumatic mounting gains in confidence: from 110 to 120 for the front and from 150 to 160 mm for the back. Like many of the manufacturer’s machines, the TDM adopts a braking system closely derived from the R1. the box finally passes to 6 reports, while gaining smoothness of operation, and the eshetique gains in elegance. It is subtle but certain. The biggest change comes from the engine block. It is still a parallel twin but benefiting from injection and whose displacement increases by 48 cm3. The torque increases by more than 1 mkg and the power of 9 hp. The mill has more trunk without changing character. The times are better but we would appreciate more enthusiasm in its revving. Slightly down, the general comfort is still maintained at a good level. It must be said that the motorcycle has become more efficient and more rigorous. We have to make concessions. The TDM spirit remains, versatility being its greatest asset. More fishing and more efficiency; What do you want more ?

We want ABS! Okay, if you insist. Yamaha has been offering it on its TDM since 2005. A design system similar to that of the FJR 1300. Count 400 euros and 7 kg more to enjoy top-security braking.
