On the front of strategic offensives, the battle rages between the manufacturers to gain the victories which will influence the market. Whoever has the most efficient sports car, the most comfortable GT, the most aggressive roadster … And during this time, the majority of bikers want above all to have fun, and not necessarily at 250 km / h on the corner or with 20 mkg of torque…
Here is Yamaha’s answer: the Tricker. A very fun machine that quickly makes you think of an adult toy. But be careful, not just any toy. The influence of the X-games is clearly being felt. This machine is not far from being the cross between a cross bike and a motorcycle. Ultra-light (118 kg), with a slender and simplistic look (you almost want to take it under the arm), equipped with spoke rims mounted with mixed asphalt-all-terrain tires and a mono 4 time of 249 cm3, the Tricker makes you want to practice trial everywhere. Its engine benefits from the accumulated experience of the legendary XTs with the care of a thorough study: forged piston, cylinder with composite ceramic coating, intake and exhaust ducts, air box, vilo and optimized carb settings for the fun side of this 250.

When the urge to have fun takes you, there is no more to think about, the little urban trial Yam is ready to follow you. 19 hp, barely more than 100 kg, a very thin and compact machine, that promises great parts of free-style. Who has never dreamed of a bi-cross with an engine ?

If the fun and playful aspect of this concept exudes, the use may however be limited. It is hard to imagine the Tricker going on long roads, especially as with 6 L in the tank, we will not do Paris-Marseille like that. Off-road, trial, stunt and fun, this is especially at first glance the field of action of this bike. At almost 30,000 balls per toy, it still gives you pause…

With what Yamaha announces to us – \ “The Yamaha Tricker 250 will appeal to both experienced bikers and beginners alike thanks to its astonishing agility and maneuverability. It \ ‘sa machine designed to display smiles on faces! \” – We have can’t wait to take it in hand for a good part of \ “Trick \ ‘s \”.
