Yamaha 1300 ROYAL STAR VENTURE 1999

Menus

To design this great road, Yamaha started from the Royal Star and gave it weapons to seduce lovers of long-distance travel. The V4 jumps up to 24 hp and the equipment is enriched in the manner of large GTs: Fairly-sized fork head, top-case and side cases as standard… We could even find it resembles Electra Glide, its most direct competitor. With 127 liters of capacity for luggage, the Venture allows you to take what cross many regions. Keep up the speed thanks to the cruise-control, get drunk on the melody (your choice: V4 or radio-cassette) or chat with the passenger; the bike is pre-equipped with Intercom. This beautiful machine was first designed for the North American market, a country that consumes a lot of this type of motorcycle. By becoming Venture and traveler, the Royal Star also gained overweight (70 kgs) but also of the belly – with 4 liters and a half more in the tank, we can make good stages. Too bad the suspensions do not offer more comfort; and the brakes would benefit from biting more. Let’s stop the reprimands there. The Venture is a very nice motorcycle, well equipped, and capable of giving you a lot. Likely to sow trouble in the clan of big GTs (Goldwing and Harley Electra in the lead), it can also rely on a less toxic price than its rivals.
