Yamaha XVS 1100 DRAGSTAR Classic 2004

Menus

After 10 years of 1100 chopper, the virago passes the baton to this Dragstar, custom typed low rider. Taking the main lines of the 650, it completes a range of which Yamaha can be proud. The manufacturer has nearly 6 customs including the Wildstar, the Royalstar or the Starventure, to name a few.. The standard version (18 “front rim, more aggressive mudguards, narrower fork) only remains in the catalog for two years while the Classic will grow for more than half a decade. No surprise as far as the silhouette is concerned. but more on the side of the dynamics. The twin is taken from the 1100 Virago with an important work on the mechanics, with in particular new cylinders, rods and pistons. Pleasant, the twin responds present when it is requested. It is more the chassis that moves us. The suspensions do a remarkable job, ensuring comfort and rewarding the Dragstar with excellent handling. Braking being of the same ilk, we can indulge ourselves by adopting the occasional more muscular drive – especially as the bike allows us. A custom that likes to play, we love it. And the price is more than tempting. Unfortunately, not everything is rosy. First, the box is not a model of silence ; As for the passenger, he will very quickly be angry e.
