The CB 1100 BadSeeds is a breath of rebellion at Honda. The meaning, the ideology, the genesis of this creation? Do you remember the time when sportswomen were done in the back of a garage, in a makeshift workshop between a water heater and a record player? The time when a fiery motorcycle was born a cafe-racer full of rage ? The GSXCB-ZXRR did not exist, and the transplant of handlebars-bracelets, a pair of sport shock absorbers and a fairing end transported courage to glory. This time has disappeared, hypersports are today the flagship of extreme sport. But the breath of the times caresses the market and gavroches are born wishes of nostalgia. The CB 1100 was designed with this spirit of revivals. A roadster that smells of the 70s, the warmth of rattling steel and the joy of remembering the days of carbs, rolling-stones and leather jackets perspiring with oil. With its BadSeeds version, the CB 1100 finds its way back to face the champions of the city and the clocks of gas stations. The Joe BAR Team for real, in its elegant and charismatic version.

The Honda CB 1100 BadSeeds was not born in the streets, the fruit of the love of a biker, a pocket stopwatch and a parts catalog. It is the accomplishment of a work between the graphic designer Olivier Renouf and Honda France. The machine is inspired by the Superbikes of the 80s, with the retro look that goes well, from the engine fins to the slender butt. There are special parts from one end of the bike to the other. All approved, so ready to do battle in the simplest and most practical legality. A very nice way to dress up the CB 1100 vintage 2013, and thus offer a limited series of 100 copies, exclusively for France. From CB 1100 to BadSeeds, the Honda gains a tapered two-tone saddle, new turn signals and mirrors, black paint on the rims, and a big style swig with aesthetic elements. The front fender is truncated, relieved of its chrome and then lacquered with a mat black coating. A facing that can be found on the collectors. These bring the breath to the Yoshimura 4-in-1 silencer, as much racing as vintage. Enough to give voice and an ounce of character to a rather linear 4-legged. A machine of Japanese blood, it nevertheless bears a French coat of arms among its coat of arms. The bike is modified by Boxer Design, not far from Toulouse.
Tempting, taking the wave of neo-retros which amplifies with lightness, the CB 1100 BadSeeds shares a suffocating data with an already star of the segment, the BMW Nine-T: a price which calms. At 15,590 euros, the budget extension somewhat uproots the molars. The last copies have benefited from a fairly substantial discount.
