Discreetly carving out its success in Europe, the trail NC 750 X benefited in 2016 from a small refresh. Even more than that. A few well-placed pencil strokes, sharp angles, a less “nice” identity, and this motorcycle with a versatile temperament takes on much more sex appeal. Like what, a simple makeover can transform you a person; without fundamentally upsetting it.

Because if the NC 750 X becomes much more attractive, it retains almost all the specificities of the old version. All? Not exactly.

Honda took care to improve certain points. Like its famous tank box, whose capacity increases by one liter or 22 in all. The screen is raised by 70 mm, the front and rear headlights adopt LED technology, the front axle offers the services of a Showa fork with “double-acting” valves while the rear shock absorber is fitted with the adjustment of the preload. The DCT automatic gearbox version benefits, as on the 1200 Crosstourer, from 3 sub-modes in the S map for better responsiveness. More compact, the exhaust is lighter and should deliver a more pleasant sound.

2020 Honda NC 750 X More adventurous, more striking in appearance, the NC 750 X has not announced any mechanical developments. Its road performance sufficient for town planning and small roads, not very exuberant on more dynamic tracks, will therefore always be entrusted to the twin-cylinder of 745 cm3 and 55 hp. Since 2018, it can conquer new markets because the machine is now available in version A2.

Although its power is nice and sufficient for its profile, Honda seems to want to stick some safeguard. Thus we see in reinforcement the HSTC torque control.
