2014 Integra test: no more trunk … engine !
Like its sisters NC750S and NC750X, the Integra is updated in 2014. However Honda has precisely privileged its maxi scooter by reserving some additional alterations, which the Site was able to review during its press presentation. Test !
Honda takes care of its NC750D in 2014
For 2014, the Integra benefits from the same updates as those carried out on and: increase in displacement, parameterization accordingly and evolution of the DCT, fitting of a second balance shaft, modification of the silencer, lengthening of ratios, adjustment distance of lever (s), etc.

But Site readers – who, as everyone knows, are more fortunate than others – know that Honda did not stop at this first stage on their scooter (it is classified as such on the official site , despite its half-scooter, half-motorcycle positioning). Some additional touches were made to the "NC750D" (read our)…
It is to judge the relevance of these developments that its Japanese designers invited Site to the European press launch of the Integra, which was held at the same time – and in the same place, it is more practical! – than that of the NC750X…
It is therefore on the small Greek roads, not far from Athens, that we were able to test the 2014 version of the Integra, a missing link – and which filled the lack that 504 French people felt last year, according to our! – between the motorcycle and the maxi scooter.
In a hurry – by the gray clouds! – to take control of the new machine and to set off again to attack the still dry small Greek roads taken that very morning on the handlebars of the NC750X, Site instantly notes the enormous progress made in terms of ergonomics: we no longer bump into the ball joints !
Amputated by 80 mm, the returns of the apron finally leave the knees of pilots, not necessarily giants. Likewise, the feet have more space to land vertically, almost like on a motorcycle. You can also move the feet forward, almost like on a scooter, but the 17 inch wheel still does not allow the legs to fully extend.
If the saddle scrupulously retains its height of 790 mm, the 40 mm cropped in its central part now prevent the little ones from having to stand in front to touch the ground on both sides. Even more accessible, the saddle of the Integra reserves a welcome always very satisfactory, well helped by flexible suspensions.
To ride this scooter like no other, it is better to step over it like a motorcycle. Indeed, by passing the leg in front and not from behind, we always expose ourselves to the risk of marking the beautiful painting of the central bridge very practical afterwards to become one with the machine, by tightening it between his calves..
The scooter spirit reappears as soon as you grab the handlebars: if the right lever – adjustable – always activates the front brake, the left one – adjustable too! – activates the rear brake and not the clutch! Be careful the first few times not to crush the left lever when stopping. Fortunately, ABS prevents wheel lockup.
The weight of the machine being placed low, it is not too impressive to handle. Before setting off, bikers must make sure to release the handbrake which is located on the apron a little below the right knee, and allows the Integra to be parked on a slope..
Long for a motorcycle but short for a maxi scooter (1525 mm, see the technical sheet on the last page to discover all the other dimensions), the wheelbase of this NC750 offers appreciable stability at low speed, while the suspensions continue to offer good comfort.
