With the K6, the Italian helmet manufacturer AGV is launching a new full-face helmet that wants to use the technologies from the high-priced AGV racing helmets one segment lower.

Racing technology for the road should be the new one AGV K6 and with a weight of only 1,220 grams, thanks to the carbon aramid fibers in the shell, it is one of the lightest road helmets ever. The peripheral field of vision is 190 degrees very wide. The metal visor mechanism improves resistance in the event of an impact, and the indentations on the lower edge of the helmet profile are designed to protect the collarbone.

Sizes from XS to XXL

The Dainese subsidiary AGV promises similar protection as the helmets used in MotoGP. The topic of aerodynamics also played a larger role in the development. The design of the new AGV K6 is correspondingly sporty. When it comes to ventilation, the Italian helmet manufacturer, who also equips MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi, uses five large ventilation slots at various points on the helmet. The central ventilation slot in particular should provide enough cooling in hot temperatures. The helmet is also designed in such a way that the AGV communication system called ARK Intercom finds a suitable place and can be easily installed.

The new AGV K6 is available in sizes XS to XXL.

The inner material is made of breathable material. The inner lining can also be removed and is therefore easy to clean. For the closure, the Italian helmet manufacturer relies on your double D-ring closure. The new AGV K6 is available in sizes XS to XXL. At the beginning, the new AGV full-face helmet will be available in eleven different design variants. Buyers can also choose between six different visors. Prices start at 430 euros.

Conclusion

With the new K6 full-face helmet, the Italian helmet manufacturer AGV is adding another product to its model portfolio. The new K6 is located in the AGV environment in the medium to higher priced segment and could be a good alternative for all those for whom the PistaGP is a number too expensive.
