Navigation gadget for the motorcycle
With the Beeline Moto, a new navigation gadget for motorcyclists is in the starting blocks. With the help of an app and a small device that can be attached to the handlebars, motorcyclists should get a smart navigation aid.

Most viewers should first notice the simple and simple look of the Beeline Moto. The smart navigation gadget can be installed on the handlebars in a few simple steps and without losing a lot of space. Attachment to the mirror, for example on scooters, is also possible without major problems. Thanks to its compact size, the device can be stowed relatively easily in a jacket pocket. The small navigation system can be detached from the holder in just a few simple steps.
Safe navigation and easy route planning
Only the most necessary information is shown on the display, which has a resolution of 240 x 240 pixels. There are basically six elements shown on the main navigation screen. In addition to showing the direction, it also shows which side the next turn is on. The distance to the next intersection is also shown on the display. Otherwise there are a total of four buttons to get to other menus and a display of the travel progress. Apart from the navigation display, there is also a speedometer display, a display for the battery status and another screen on which the time and the distance covered are recorded.
Beeline
The Beeline Moto offers a simple but tidy user interface.
The connection to the smartphone is established via Bluetooth 4.0. Speaking of smartphones: there will be an app for Android and one for iOS devices. With the help of the app, you can plan and save your own tours, among other things. It is also possible to upload tours that have already been created in GPS format. The route taken can also be tracked using the app. When navigating, you can choose between two different modes, the “Compass mode” and the “Route mode”. One mode is intended for direct navigation to a destination, the other allows special routes to be followed.
Waterproof and battery life up to 30 hours
The manufacturer promises a battery life of up to 30 hours. With the backlight activated, ten hours should still be possible. In addition, the Beeline Moto should score with its robustness. Bad weather and rain shouldn’t be a problem for the small gadget either (IP67 certification). In terms of sensors, an accelerometer, a gyroscope and a magnetometer are on board.
Beeline
The Beeline Moto should also be able to be used on scooters.
By the way, there is already a version of the navigation device for cyclists. Visually, the two variants are almost identical. However, the device for cyclists is not designed for riding on a motorcycle, which is why the manufacturer is now launching its own variant for motorcyclists. Like the Beeline Moto, the bicycle version was also financed by a crowdfunding campaign and is now offered on Amazon, among others. For the so-called Beeline Bicycle are onAmazon called about 110 euros. How much the variant for the motorcycle will cost is not yet known. The manufacturer wants to start shipping the first test devices in early 2019. As soon as we get our hands on a test copy, we will report on the functionality at this point.
