Naked bike with a bigger heart

Benelli presented the Leoncino 800 Concept study at EICMA in Milan. This transfers the Leoncino concept with the new two-cylinder to a higher class.

Just has B.enelli presented its new two-cylinder engine in the Benelli 752 S, when the Italians in Chinese hands are already pushing a second bike with this engine into the spotlight with the Leoncino 800 Concept. The Leoncino 800 Concept was shown at the EICMA.

New two-cylinder

But the Leoncino 800 seems to take over more than just the 76.8 hp and 67 Nm two-cylinder from the 752 S. The tubular space frame also seems to come directly from the sister model. In contrast, the aluminum swing arm, which replaces the tubular steel structure of the 752 S, is new. The footrest extensions for the passenger, which are made of cast aluminum, are also new. The exhaust, contributed by Arrows, flows deeper.

Well-known Leoncino design elements

In addition, the Leoncino 800 has a new bench seat and a new rear panel. The lines of the little Leoncino also come into play on the tank and the front fender. For the gear train, the study relies on wire-spoke wheels, which are covered with Pirelli MT60-RS tires in the dimensions 120/70 ZR17 at the front and 180/55 ZR17 at the rear.

As a further differentiation, the Leoncino 800 Wave brake discs, a newly designed cockpit instrument and a new LED headlight with a striking daytime running arc.
