From 2016, Motorcycles ABS must be on board
From 2016, all new motorcycles must have the blocking protection ABS on board. The exhaust instructions are tightened.
Motorcycles should be more secure in the EU in the future and at the same time more environmentally friendly. A regulation aims to say goodbye to the European Parliament on Tuesday. Above all, it sees the compulsory installation of an anti-blocking system (ABS brakes) for motorcycles with a displacement of more than 125 cubic centimeters. Scooters with a displacement between 50 and 125 Cubic centimeters can equip the manufacturers with ABS or a combined braking system.
