Motorbike winter meeting
Is it too cold, are you too sober, too warm, too weak … – Please tick as appropriate, or not. Over 5,000 motorcyclists came to the 2017 elephant meeting.

The Federal Association of Motorcyclists in Germany, BVDM, reports 3,117 hardy bikers plus almost 2,000 day visitors from the 61st elephant meeting in the Bavarian Forest. Blue skies and sunshine, but icy minus temperatures, almost double digits at night – a lot of imagination was required to keep things warm. And a lot of stamina for the journey. Alexander Ignatov proved the most, he had driven 3,858 kilometers from Moscow into the Bavarian Forest. For the 29th time the elephant meeting took place here in the so-called “witch cauldron” of Solla / Loh near Thurmansbang.
