Indian will start a flat track racing series in Europe in 2020. There will be four races in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and Great Britain.

After a trial balloon in 2019, the US motorcycle manufacturer Indian announced a flat track racing series for Europe for 2020.

There will be a total of four events. It starts from May 2nd to 3rd in the Netherlands. The second round will take place in the UK from June 6th to 7th. The third run will take place on June 13th in San Sebastian, Spain. The final will then take place in Germany from September 18th to 20th at the Krowdrace in Parchim. Out of four rounds, the three best results count. Participation in the series is free.

The start is in three classes. The offer ranges from the thundering 750 cc multi-cylinder hooligan machines based on street motorcycles such as the Indian FTR 1200 and the Scout, to the growing “vintage class” before 1975 to the open Pro class, the dominated by light DTX machines. All classes should be suitable for both beginners and pro drivers. The circuits are designed for mixed abilities, including fast ½ miles, tight short distances and a TT.

In addition to the local prize money, the winners can win prizes of 150 to 200 euros. the Registration lists will still be open in January and will only close shortly before the first race in May.
