A clever thing: All the little dukes (besides the KTM 125 Duke and the 390 are also available for other markets, a 200 and a 250) have the same chassis with just different engines. Frame and geometry, swing arm, fork and strut, four-piston radial brake caliper, ergonomics too – everything is identical. Even TFT displays and LED headlights can be found on the smallest Duke.

Euro 4 renewed
125 Duke is extremely grown up and well made for a 125cc. Otherwise you will look for a tubular space frame in this class in vain.
KTM 125 Duke with 15 hp as usual in its class
The handling is convincing all along the line. A little tighter, a little more cushioning, a little more aggressive sitting position, that’s also very good for the smallest Duke.
The only difference to the 390 Duke, besides the 300 brake disc that is still used in the KTM 125 Duke (and which is completely sufficient here), is of course the engine. It delivers the class-standard 15 hp and twelve Newton meters, hangs fine and lively on the gas even without ride-by-wire, does not vibrate excessively and rewards hard-working shifters with decent progress even over land.
Thanks to the modular strategy with many identical parts and cost-effective production at Bajaj in India, the price remains within reasonable limits. 4,695 euros are even cheap in comparison.
