Recall Honda VFR 800 F

Risk of fire from incorrectly laid cables

Honda has to recall 528 vehicles of the VFR 800 F model series to the workshops worldwide. An incorrectly routed hose can result in a fire.

GRound for the recall is an incorrectly laid charging hose to the activated charcoal filter. It can come into contact with the exhaust. Escaping gasoline vapors could ignite and cause a fire.

The recall affects machines from the construction period November 22, 2017 to July 20, 2018 with the chassis numbers JH2RC93A7HK000950 to JH2RC93A4HK001330. The recall affects 528 machines worldwide, 309 of which are in Europe.

During the workshop visit, which is specified as one to two hours, the hose routing is checked and, if necessary, corrected and the hose is replaced if necessary.
