Suzuki Italy is launching the new Hayabusa with a limited edition. Ten machines with factory accessories were available for pre-order. All of them were sold within three days.

The special model of the new web edition is said to be a good 2,100 euros more than the production version Suzuki Hayabusa cost in Italy. For 21,490 euros there is a Hayabusa in a black and gold dress in the garage, which is already equipped with six of 20 possible accessories from the Suzuki catalog. Including the titanium mufflers from Akrapovic, which not only save four kilograms in weight, but should also deliver a good 3 hp.

The titanium pots from Akrapovic should bring four kilos less and 1.9 kw more. Price still unknown in Germany.

Since the unit price has not yet been determined for the mufflers, one can only guess how high the total price advantage is compared to the individual purchase. But it feels clear, as the prices of the other built-in parts already amount to a sum of 1,100 euros. And given that the Akra pots for the 2008 Hayabusa still cost a good 1,300 euros, the web edition will certainly save a few hundred euros.

Only the best

Suzuki Italy only uses the best from the accessories catalog for the web edition. Including the milled aluminum hand lever for 295.36 euros each, the pillion passenger cover for 203.85 euros and the mirror cover for 122.87 euros. The 28.45 euros for the rim well stickers and the 31 euros for the tank pad are almost negligible, especially since the error-prone assembly is already included in the price.

Payment via PayPal is possible

The web edition could be reserved quite easily via the Suzuki Italy homepage by email and PayPal, whereby a deposit of 500 euros was required. The final contract is then concluded with one of the participating dealers. The campaign should run until March 15, 2021 or until all 10 machines are sold. That was the case after just three days.

Conclusion

The Akrapovic pots are particularly attractive here. The titanium pots should be available at a really good rate. Sales promotions from Suzuki Germany for the new Hayabusa are eagerly awaited.
