As announced by the court in Celle provisionally appointed insolvency administrators Viktor von Websky and Jens Hamdorf, the business operations in Schneverdingen and Uelzen will continue to run. The jobs and salaries of around 40 employees are also secured for the time being.
The original company was founded in 1982 by Dieter Konemann as “Zweirad-Technik Konemann” and today sells new and used motorcycles from well-known brands such as BMW, Triumph as well as imported motorcycles from well-known brands. There is also the sale of spare parts, accessories and clothing, an extensive workshop service and the operation of a bistro. The Schneverdingen site alone has a covered area of 5,000 square meters. The traditional company with around 40 employees is well known in the German and international two-wheeler scene.
The inventory is currently in progress
ZTK Erlebniswelt and Zweirad Technik will continue to be supplied with two-wheelers, spare parts and accessories. The business operations of both companies will continue unchanged. The salaries of the employees will be secured through the insolvency money of the Federal Employment Agency until March 31, 2018.
The preliminary insolvency administrators are striving for a so-called “transferring restructuring”. We are looking for an acquirer and investor who will take over the operational business and the assets as part of an asset deal. Reasons for bankruptcy were not given.
