Now that Benelli has installed a pretty muscular trail in its range, the factory can be tempted by a few fleeting ideas with its big backpacker. As its 3 legs cannot stay in place, the TRE-K lets itself be carried away by the scent of adventure in this Amazonas version; to go and tear ruts on the banks of the famous Amazon River ? Certainly not bundled up like that. But Amazonas gives off this little something, this scent of stony roads, this apprehension of branches whipping the face, this exotic note that would almost make us imagine Indiana Jones at his side..

Why an Amazonas series? Quite simply because a pilot has embarked on an unusual adventure: riding a TREK modified and adapted to the South American continent (and the jungle that goes with it), this crew will cover 14,000 km in 13 stages on Brazilian lands. Starting and finishing point: San Paolo – with wild lands, not always nice animals, and a 1130cc beast to tame as traveling companions.

This Trek 1130 Amazonas series is here to remind us of the human adventure. The changes are minimal but sufficient to make this Trek more all-terrain trail: spoked rims shod with nipple tires, protections on the hands, brake discs in petals and a few touches of yellow to smooth the landscape. No technical changes to report, Amazonas being the Trek disguised as an adventurer.
