Benelli has just made official the first photos of his new roadster. At first glance, a machine which Benelli 1130 TnTescaped from a laboratory. Shamelessly, leaving all his guts in plain view, what madness has seized upon this Benelli machine? The beast is adorned with the facies of a praying mantis, and the radiator covers seem to be copied from the pincer arms of the same insect.. The aggressiveness that emerges from this machine is spectacular. In some ways, the machine is reminiscent of the brutality, the visual shock, and the sublime side of a certain MV-Agusta roadster. Just as the prestigious Italian brand went a long way to strip the F4 to design the Brutale, Benelli didn’t just remove the fairing from the Tornado. We find the trellis frame connected to aluminum elements (the rear loop is different, acting both as a saddle support, exhaust, and integrating the passenger handles) but for the rest, it’s a different story. The Tornado’s engine sees its stroke lengthened to reach 1130 cm3. Releasing 135 hp and 12 mkg without any problem, it should offer this 200 kg machine explosive sensations. The swing arm has been transformed into a tubular structure with eccentric wheel adjustment. The radiators migrate to the sides while the pot tries in vain to hide under the embryo and the passenger seat. From a tiny size, TNT will sow terror on our roads…
