Leaving its usual niche of sports cars with a bloody temperament, the Italian brand has tried the roadster exercise. Knowing the reputation of Bimota, one could expect a very particular machine.
The result is eloquent: a very unique machine that seems to know only one word: sport ! Once on board, we like the driving position; at the same time sufficiently on the front to counter the turbulence, but without excess to spare the vertebrae. By piloting it, we find the soul of a Bimota. A particularly enjoyable machine on winding roads. The components of the chassis are also to match: Paioli suspensions, Brembo brakes, and a sturdy perimeter frame in aluminum trellis with oval section (with a geometry similar to the old DB2). The good torque from the mill (the twin of the Ducati 900 SS) completes the driving pleasure. Due to the history of its models, Bimota wanted a different and authentic roadster. It’s done.
