Menus

The Italians know how to make exceptional machines, with a passionate character and captivating plastic. The small builder Bimota knows how to get used to exercise, and proves it again by offering this sublime SB8R. A compact and light machine with attractive attributes. The engine is the twin cylinder of the Suzuki TL 1000 R, revised to offer more potato. Having become more aggressive on the Bimota, it is also more flexible and vigorous than the Ducati 996. This concentrate of gniak is housed in an ultra rigid frame made up of 2 aluminum-carbon spars. The fairing and the air intake ducts are also in carbon, the reservoir in nylon, and the peripherals come from the best manufacturers..

Braking at the top of Brembo has no trouble stopping this sporty twin particularly light. The Ohlins shock absorber offers real pleasure and more efficiency than the TLR, especially in curves and under acceleration. As for the Paioli inverted fork, it offers an excellent feeling. The SB8R can be driven with ease while being really efficient, rigid and very stable under braking. No compromise on board: it’s racing! The protection is non-existent, the saddle is a mouse pad, and the sensations exclusive. If your wallet is well stocked, treat yourself to the super-luxury version. 15,000 francs (2,290 €) more but carbon and titanium in abundance.
