Gant Rugger joins forces with BMW to revisit the BMW R nine-T motorcycle under the sign of the neo-retro trend inspired by Brooklyn. As a bonus, the brand has created a parka to look as good as its frame.

Created in 2010 and propelled by the work of designer Christopher Bastin, the Gant Rugger line (recently established in our regions) is inspired by the American sportswear heritage given to it by its big-sister brand to create a “prepster” wardrobe. (a mix between preppy and hipster) which has become a reference across the Atlantic. Driven by this idea of ​​going back to basics and inspired by the racy and authentic look of the R Nine-T roadster, Gant Rugger collaborated with BMW to deliver its version of the bike, called “Brooklyn Scrambler” in honor of modernity nostalgic for neighboring Manhattan.

Produced in 6 pieces assembled by hand in the Boxer Design workshops in Toulouse, the 1200 nine-T “Brooklyn Scrambler inspired by Gant Rugger” has a topstitched and padded leather saddle, in an exclusive “Denim Gray” color. “and a thermal band on its exhaust reminiscent of fashion details. For a more adventurous side, the road tires have been replaced by Continental TKC 80 studded models and the headlight adopts a black protective grid..

Finally, particular attention has been paid to details with a deviation from the production model: LED indicators from the BMW Motorrad accessories catalog, a painted rear light bracket, homologated mirrors in machined and black anodized aluminum or even intake trim with shaped holes and chamfers.

Marketed from June 2, 2014 at certain BMW Motorrad dealers (Paris, Montpellier, Marseille, Lyon and Toulouse) at a price of 18,500 euros including tax, the “Brooklyn Scrambler” comes with a personalized collector’s parka in the colors of the frame. : a model taken from the archives and brought up to date thanks to the floral pattern in its lining.
