On Friday afternoon, spectators will also be able to attend the Bol d’Argent, a three-hour race with around sixty amateur crews on medium-capacity roadsters. On Friday evening and Saturday morning, vintage motorcycle enthusiasts will follow the two rounds of the Bol d’Or Classic with its motorcycles built between 1960 and 1991.
Vintage village and motorcycle preparations
Side animations, let us announce the exceptional concert of the French Federation of fonck (FFF) with Yarol Poupaud and Marco Prince and a "vintage" village specially devoted to old machines with exhibitions of exceptional motorcycles: more than 150 old motorcycles and side- cars will be exhibited in this exhibition village with the presence of the Marseille Motorcycle Museum, the Dollar Club, the Goldwing Club PACA, the Retro Moto Cycles de l’Est, the 1000 VX CDF, the V4H80 and the XS 1100 CDF.
Those who prefer new products will choose the traditional village with its hundred exhibitors, its props and above all the exceptional presence of eight manufacturers: Yamaha, Suzuki, BMW, Triumph, Harley-Davidson, Royal-Enfield, Ducati and Honda, who will present their emblematic models but also some new products.
These manufacturers will also exhibit their finest preparations in the Preparers Workshop (another novelty in 2017) located in the Grand Prix Hall. All visitors are invited to come and elect the most beautiful of all during the weekend. !
Rock’n Boll
From Friday evening, 9 p.m., visitors will be able to dance for the Ricard On’R evening in front of the big Bol d’Or stage: a festive and participatory evening, built around pop & electro atmospheres with a show, games in interaction with the public, distribution of gifts, DJs, etc. An evening for the general public to launch this great festive weekend !
A "kids" village will be entirely dedicated to children with various activities (balance bikes, mini-motorcycles, BSR initiations, mechanical workshops, games, coloring, puzzles, etc..
In addition to the rides of the traditional funfair, thrill seekers can attend the jet ski and flyboard freestyle demonstrations, the Big Jim (BMW) and Duke (Yamaha) stunt show, or the death wall of the Niglo’s Family, not to mention a circuit with zip lines and quick jumps or even a helicopter flight to fly over the Bol d’Or.
