A nice little face, the chassis and the engine of the Mito – the Planet has it all. With its big headlight, the inverted fork and the enormous Brembo front brake disc, and a very Italian design, we are not far from a certain Ducati Monster.. The driving position is less extreme than on the Mito but still sporty. No trellis frame for this fiery roadster but a sturdy aluminum perimeter. We quickly get caught up in the game of piloting, especially as the machine is incredibly efficient. Powerful braking, ultra sharp engine and imperturbable chassis: in addition to being beautiful, the Planet is a concentrate of adrenaline. If it takes the qualities of its sporty cousin, it also inherits flaws: an unenviable turning radius, more racing comfort than roadster, and reliability far from Japanese standards. We will look grimy not to find a tachometer … In the restricted version, the mechanics remain usable but lose a lot of their splendor. Beauty requires very regular and flawless maintenance – that’s the price to ride a fatal beauty !
