“Acoustic diversity in Germany” was the motto for this year “Day against noise”, and that does not mean the tonal divergence of the different engine concepts of motorcycles.
The Federation for Environment and Nature Conservation (BUND), together with other environmental associations and local residents’ initiatives, has launched an anti-award and has four candidates on the side www.vulgarius.de made available for selection. One is particularly impressive here “VAGM e. V. – United working groups against motorcycle noise” from Stuttgart.
It is about the systematic circumvention of noise limit values in traffic – and thus deliberate traffic noise from the exhaust.
