Fresh cell treatment for the BMW K 1600 GTL. The Tourer presented at EICMA 2016 will be launched in the 2017 model year with a number of new features.

In addition to the changes due to the Euro4 standard, BMW K 1600 GTL of model year 2017, especially externally changed. BMW has given the tourer new side panels to provide improved wind and weather protection. The two rear-view mirrors have also been revised and should now provide a better view to the rear. The foot protection and the storage compartments in the lower area of ​​the engine are now standard and have also been slightly improved. The top case is equipped with a back cushion as standard.

BMW equips the new K 1600 GT with the electronic suspension Dynamic ESA with automatic damping adjustment and the two driving modes "Road" and "Dynamic" as standard. Also new: a reversing aid, a shift assistant for upshifting and downshifting without using the clutch and an intelligent emergency call system for quick help in emergencies. The new BMW Tourer will be available in the colors Light White, Thunder Gray metallic and K 1600 GTL Elegance (Ebony metallic / Black storm metallic). The BMW K 1600 GTL will be launched in June 2017 and will cost 23,900 euros (including 19% VAT).
