Brivemo Honda CB 1000 R Scrambler

Power naked bike as a super scrambler

Who invented it? The Swiss, in this case the Honda dealer Brivemo from Zofingen, who converted a CB 1000 R into a scrambler for Swiss Moto.

With the VS.B 1000 R, Honda has the top model of its Neo Sports series at the start. Its 998 cm³ in-line four-cylinder produces 146 hp and provides 104 Nm of torque. Key data for a confident drive in a confident naked bike. But there is more to the CB 1000 R, thought the Swiss Honda dealer Brivemo and had the vision of a super scrambler.

Fork from the CRF 450

For the Swiss Moto 2019, the confederates converted the power naked bike into a super scrambler. In order to achieve the ground clearance that is typical of Scramblers, the series suspension strut was exchanged for a longer counterpart. The front USD fork has been completely replaced by a fork from a Honda CRF 450. However, because the standard double disc brake system lost a disc as a result, the remaining disc was upgraded with a larger brake caliper.

The relocation of the carbon rear silencer of the 4-in-1 system high under the rear frame creates a clear view of the rear wheel. The pillion rests are omitted, as is the number plate arm on the rear swing arm. For this purpose, the pillion seat was provided with a cover and the rear frame with a short license plate holder.

Vinyl dress in HRC look

The conversion is completed by a new lamp mask, hand protectors on the tubular handlebar, engine protection bar and a raised cross fender over the front wheel. The scrambler look is rounded off by coarse-tread Conti TKC 80 tires on the standard cast rims. To top the total work of art, the Brivemo CB 1000 R Scrambler is wrapped in HRC colors, just like the Honda Africa Twin wears.

Finally, the bad news: the Scrambler is purely a show bike, production is not planned, as the Scrambler would not be approved that way.
