CF Motorbike 300 SR
Bonsai super athletes only for Asia
The Chinese motorcycle manufacturer CF Moto has presented its new supersport model with the 300 SR. The 300 SR relies on a single cylinder and is only intended for the Asian market.
S.European customers always associate super athletes with 200 hp from a good one liter displacement. In Asia, the markets tick a little differently. Sometimes just under 300 cc and just one cylinder under the full fairing are enough to be happy on the road.
Single has almost 30 hp
The youngest member of these bonsai athletes is the now presented 300 SR from the Chinese manufacturer CF Moto. Its water-cooled Euro 4 single-cylinder with four-valve technology sits in a tubular steel frame and draws 29.2 hp at 8,750 rpm and 25.3 Nm of torque from 293 cm³ displacement, which are available at 7,250 tours. For other markets there is also a single that is down to 250 cm³. At six-speed gearbox serves the drive torque via a chain to the rear wheel, where a 140/60 tire on a 17-inch rim ensures grip. In the front of the 37 USD fork is a 110/70 tire, also on a 17-inch wheel. Bremspower delivers a 292 disc in combination with a four-piston caliper at the front. At the back, a single-piston caliper bites into a 220 disc. ABS is part of the basic equipment of the ready-to-drive athlete weighing 165 kilograms.

The front of the 300 SR is characterized by a double LED headlight with flanking LED daytime running lights. Their design also takes up the LED rear light. Otherwise, the CF Moto presents itself with a heavily tiered bench seat, a twelve-liter tank and extensive full fairing. A digital instrument in the cockpit combines all the displays.
Prices for the CF Moto 300 SR have not yet been announced. Mileage data are also not known.
